TecHarmonic's ECO, an Electrically Heated Catalyst Oxidizer, provides cost effective abatement for those environments that cannot utilize gas fired burner systems.

Process air is drawn into the system and is forced to pass through heated catalyst blocks. VOC - ECO destruction occurs as the VOCs pass through the catalyst blocks heated to the proper oxidation temperature. Heat is supplied by an electric heater with an SCR proportional energy controller. A high quality catalyst is used for longevity. Catalyst changes will be required as the catalyst is expanded, typically every 3 - 5 years. An added benefit of the ECO system us the use of pre-formed easy change catalyst blocks. Warm up time to bring the catalyst system up to temperature is typically 30 minutes. TecHarmonic catalyst oxidizers typically oxidize VOCs at lower temperatures than most catalysts reducing customers' operating costs. These systems have been used successfully in petro-chemical and laboratory applications.

The computer monitoring system supplied with the system not only records required data for air board compliance but also provides on screen troubleshooting tips for maintenance technicians.

VOC Compatibility
Compatible with ketones, alcohols, xylenes, NMP, TCE, TCA, methylene chloride, photo resist. Materials such as HMDS, organometallic compounds, arsenic, chloride, dust halogens, heavy metals, lead, mercury, phosphorus, silicon, sulfur, tin, and others can render the catalyst inactive. Monitoring & Reporting
A computer system provided with the oxidizer monitors system parameters and records data required by local agencies.
