Techarmonic's UniSafe is a Catastrophic Release abatement Tool . It is designed to protect personnel from accidentally released gases. It is a sturdy, compact, dry scrubber that safely and effectively abates toxic and corrosive gas by-products to below TLV levels. Using innovative control technology, with numerous safety devices, UniSafe makes use of chemisorption, a process in which highly porous media attract and absorb gases. Within the media, the contaminant then reacts chemically to convert harmful gases into a solid. The specially blended absorbent media in the Uniscrub Canister can remove the various types of toxic gas in case of emergency. No absorbent is consumed when there is no toxic gas passing through it. The long absorbing lifetimes of the system often ranges into years.

• Passive system. No heaters or liquid involved.
• Simple yet sophisticated. Toxic gas gets pulled by a vacuum down to a resin- filled Uniscrub Canister where chemical reactions take place, and removes harmful effluents through chemisorption.
• Safe. Visual and audio alarm, continuous monitoring for toxic gas, triple-stage temperature monitoring, and warning alarms if Uniscrub Canister is approaching capacity limit. Automatic shutdown if tool goes into alarm.
